The name Domaine Atlas describes everything that has to be said. Our winery lies at the foothills of the atlas mountains, 10 km of the sea and in the middle of Cap Bon. Old vine-stocks and years of ecological management meet the modern cellar technology today, which can produce these deep-red and fruity wines.

The discontinuation of pesticides during summer, caused by the annually returning Shirocco, can merely be found on the Cap Bon peninsula.

The strength of the summer months forms on the one hand the unique tannin-acid harmony, on the other hand the increasing levels of anthocyanins only in this warm climate zone.

Anthocyanins positively influence the human metabolism, as well as this compound is regarded as extremely gentle to the stomach

Our main grapes are Carignan, Cabernet-Sauvignon, and Syrah.

The freshness, exotic and extravagance cannot be compared with other wines.

Wine is grown on 75 percent of the total area of Domains Atlas is driven wine-growing, on exposed areas olives, peaches and apricots ripen

Climate: semi-arid with mild winters

Precipitation: the annual average precipitation amounts to 450 mm

Winter:	41%

Considering the weather precipitation can immediately be identified as the limiting factor. Every plant requires water and light in the growth phase. Both of which is also available in our winery. Additional irrigation is only applied with the food grape production (13 ah). Thus the grapes for our brand "Vin de Soleil" are supplied with nightly moisture from the sea. The maximum harvest per hectar does not exceed 5500 kg of grapes . Quantity is not our main concern but a high quality deep red wine.
